PhotoPlus 2011 at New York City Javits Center

This year's PhotoPlus, the annual east-coast photo industry conference, was held last week at the Javits Center in New York City. This year the expo included over 300 exhibitors and over 100 seminars and sessions. On Friday, a small contingent of FotoBridge photography geeks made the trek up the NJ Turnpike to check out all the hoopla and meet with imaging industry partners. While there were few new product announcements, it turned out to be great opportunity to catch up on the very latest in imaging and photography.

The FotoBridge team made the rounds on the expo trade floor, checking out all the great new cameras and imaging tools, forging new relationships and just saying hi to old friends. While photo scanning services are just now starting to penetrate the broader photo market, FotoBridge continues to experience growing interest from a variety of potential channel partners. Clearly, photo scanning and digital archiving of consumer and professional photo collections is an important segment that vendors, photographers and imaging professionals are beginning to integrate into offerings.
