FotoBridge, the national photo scanning service based in NJ, recently teamed up with the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (APPO) for a fun, interactive social event in Cherry Hill, NJ. The two hour seminar entitled "Got Photos? Get Organized!" was held at the Cherry Hill Library and attracted many from the greater-Philadelphia area. Michelle Nahom, APPO Marketing Manager and Julie Ann Morris, President of FotoBridge, led an engaging and insightful discussion focused on practical ways to regain control and organize a lifetime of memories.

From scanning photos and digitizing slides to simple ways to organize using the "ABCs" of photo organizing, the evening provided everyone a place to start telling their stories with photos.   Many people today are re-discovering how photos tell their family stories, but with the advent of digital and the volume of images available to tell those stories - many become overwhelmed and frustrated. Digitizing and preserving family heirloom collections of old analog photo prints, slides, movie film and video is also top-of-mind for many as treasured memories, trapped in old media, deteriorate with each passing day.
