An exhibit at the National Geographic Museum in Washington D.C., running through September 7th, highlights photographs of postwar Europe. Entitled "Kodachrome Culture: The American Tourist in Europe", the exhibit features 100 images from National Geographic photographers including Luis Marden, James P. Blair, Thomas J. Abercrombie, and Volkmar Wentzel.

The exhibit is free and of particular relevance given Kodak's recent announcement discontinuing Kodachrome film after 74 years of "those nice bright colors" and "the greens of summer".
